YOUNG13DBABY, whose real name is Pema Tenzin, was born on February 25, 1998. He is a Chinese rap artist and music visual producer from the Maqu Prairie in the Himalayas.
At the age of 16, he dreamt of rushing out of the snow-capped mountains and sweeping the globe. He left the snowy mountain meadow and came to Chengdu to start his own music career. In 2019, he was invited to the stage of the SXSW music festival in the US and Rolling Loud in HK.
His music focus is mainly on the production of “New Wave Trap Music”, and combines his own bohemian character and national characteristics to integrate the mysterious snow monster culture into the trap music, creating a brand new feeling. As a member of WHOSTAR, he has become a staple at many of China’s premier music festivals.
As a young kid, he already gained a lot of rich experiences. He has not only participated in WHOSTAR’s national tour and major music festivals, but also opened for many well-known international artist, such as Rae Sremmurd/JID/Machine Gun Kelly/Ski Mask the Slump God and so on.
The very first debut album "Himalaya Drip" is already out globally at the end of October 2019. The album has a total of 10 tracks flowing effortlessly through a range of genres, including trap, dance hall and more. The album's title song "Himalaya Drip" delivers strong ethnic characteristics, and it is also featured by American rapper Gunna.
