Brought together through the magic of gay Craigslist (Lex) and their desire to play music with and for other cool queer simps, YLO formed in January 2024 and rapidly became America's #1 simp-rock band.
With the raw edge of punk and the zingy energy of power-pop, they speak to the experience of being loud and proud about who they are—while their more downbeat songs explore such diverse topics as parasocial relationships, only childhood, and cult leadership.
They’re currently playing live shows around Brooklyn and Manhattan while working on recording their first EP, which will include singles “PUT ME ON DISPLAY!!” and “WDWD?!”
