Zach and Rodney along with the award winning Canton Jones make their country debut. The “Selma Swamp” project was recorded and filmed over a year ago. It includes the powerful title track, a timely short film and music video. Written by Brian Morgan and Rodney Hedrick, produced by Rick and Micah Schweinsberg “Selma Swamp” tells a story about two people coming together where there’s history of great divide. Paying no attention to the color of their skin, hate get’s put in its place as they talk and love like Jesus.
While pursuing a career in country music and getting into trouble with the law, Rodney Hedrick of the duo was sentenced to community service at a church. He would go on to marry the janitor’s daughter who happened to have a guitar-playing brother. So began the duo Zach and Rodney who are no strangers to the national charts in gospel music, hall of fame writers and publishers in town. Zach and Rodney are dedicated to encouraging others through music and storytelling. Additional projects include Why Us for special needs families, Soldier’s Kiss, a documentary for brave men and women in uniform struggling with PTSD and Stubborn Tree, a book that includes five red dirt principles for the tough stuff.
When not touring Zach enjoys playing guitar on the worship team at his church, DIY projects and spending time with his wife and their Huskey Zena. Rodney loves hanging out with his wife around a fire and helping develop the talents of their three daughters.
