He led the band <a href="spotify:artist:0MwW9TV6e4sHkN9zPSfKof">Surrender</a> from 1979-1983 and recorded a self-titled solo debut in 1984. Two of his singles were Canadian hits, and Zappacosta's second album, A-Z, followed in 1986. Four years later, he released Quick...Don't Ask Any Questions.
