A deep breath, an open heart and an ethereal melody. Zen is an Indie singer songwriter from Cape Town, South Africa whose writings are deeply influenced by gratitude for Mother Earth, and the human experience of healing, seeking for belonging and learning to love ourselves.
Their sound incorporates natural elements, like water gushing over rocks in the river, or the wind whistling through chimes. The warm melodies and sweet harmonies evoke the feeling of hope and inner peace, and the knowing that everything will be okay.
After their debut EP release (Self-Love 2019,) Zen traveled the world for 4 years (2020-2023) making music with wonderful, talented people - people from Cape Town to Bali to the Ukraine to the US, and writing about their experiences and the beauty of Gaia. Currently (for now,) they're back in Cape Town, in studio, bringing new magical offerings to life.
