The band was formed in 2023 in Tbilisi (Georgia). Initially, the group was called Projecte Orchestra, the idea of which belongs to the old friend of the band's founders, Levan Tchavtchavadze. Eventually, the group's name was transformed into Zombie Orchestra. The founding members of the band are Zura Kobakhidze on guitar and Giga Rekhviashvili on bass guitar. Later, drummer Vaso (Garkhvnili) Doiashvili and vocalist Irakli (Kirk) Kirkitadze joined the group.
Immediately after its formation, the group began working on its debut album, which consisted of 8 original tracks and two cover compositions.
The band's tracks were driven by the theme of acute social protest from the very beginning and, at the same time, were inspired by post-apocalyptic, grindhouse and dieselpunk movies.
It is noteworthy that the song "Fire in the Street" was dedicated to the political and social problems in Georgia at the time of the band's album creation, which concerns the influence of Russian (Putinist) politics on Georgian government circles!
The band describes its genre as post-apocalyptic metal. While recording the album, the band played at various festivals and live shows, including show with Sepultura - Brazilian thrash metal legends at Batumi, Georgia. Currently, the band has two official videos.
