15. is the name of the Rotterdam-based neo-classical composer Dylan Viset. In the middle of the crowded city, Viset creates calm, intimate and heartfelt compositions. Collected thoughts and emotions he leaves in the keys of his piano to process the ebb and flow of life.
Growing up in an ambiance of a wide variety of music, Viset became inspired to play the piano at a young age. The love for different genres allowed him to become more electronic-oriented when he got older and soon enough he found himself studying Electronic Producing. Viset has always had an ambition to write music for film and worked with several directors and companies like Bertil Nilsson, MassiveMusic, Nowness and the VPRO for short films and commercials. After all these years of searching and developing his musical identity, he one day sat behind his piano again and started to play. Just play. Nothing more, nothing less. And it felt like coming home.
In October 2019 Viset released his first composition as 15. called “While/Asleep” followed by his second single “Distant” in January 2020. Later this year he got signed by Maestro Music, a sublabel by ADA Music/Warner Music and released his third single ‘Luna’ which was streamed for over a million times in the first three months and was added to several playlists by Spotify, Andante Piano and Double J Music. With all releases he reached a total of 15 million streams worldwide.
On the 4th of March, he released his eight single ‘Supine’
