"The difference between me and a lot of other rappers is that I had no choice," explains 23-year-old Brooklyn, New York native of his life in the street. "On my block, drugs were so prevalent—every drug possible," he describes. "If you weren't doing drugs, you were selling them. It was one or the other; there was no in-between. You had to pick one.

For 2021, ABG Neal is challenging himself for his art. "I may have chosen the wrong profession because I'm private. On this project, I get a bit deeper into my personal life. I had a lot of traumatic experiences, but I don't often talk about them." This time, Neal wants his devoted following to understand what he has overcome and see if they relate. Beginning with April's debut single, listeners will get a new time-stamp of what is really happening in ABG Neal's life.
