As one half of fast-paced trap duo N7 & Pwap, rapper N7 represented Oklahoma with 808-led beats, relentless flows, and a playful yet cocky set of bars.

The self-proclaimed "best Mexican rapper in the world," Oklahoma-based N7 (Isaiah Favela) spent his high school years honing his rap talents, demonstrating his rapid-fire flows and gift for MCing on early tracks like "Palm Trees" and "Southside." A placement on major platform World Star Hip Hop ensured that his subsequent track "Hella Clout" racked up views in the hundreds of thousands, giving the young MC exposure to an international audience for the first time. After hearing that childhood friend Deontrae Boyd was developing a budding rap career of his own under the alias of Pwap, N7 proposed that the duo get to working together in the studio. These sessions produced early hits like "Big West" and "On God," with the pair landing views in the hundreds of thousands. The duo's style was simple yet electric: undercut by flighty, 808-led production, N7 & Pwap went back-to-back with liquid-fast flows, self-assured lyrics, and a potent synergy on the mic.

Having secured multi-million view counts with "Spazzin" and "No Hook," in 2020 N7 & Pwap released their debut album, Apply Pressure, a 13-track collection of larger-than-life trap bangers. This was supplemented later that year by Apply Pressure: Isolation Pack, a hold-out of high-energy anthems ahead of the duo's second full-length project. ~ David Crone, Rovi
