American rapper Bandhunta Izzy delivers dense, lyrical bars inspired by Chicago drill and the street life of his native Baltimore. Surviving a rough upbringing involving drug dealing and street violence, Izzy built buzz with his brother and fellow rapper, Bandhunta Jugg, on their tracks "Bandhuntas" and "Bandhuntas, Pt. 2." As a solo artist, Izzy issued the singles "BBB" with Blue Benjamin Sleepy, "Rumors," and "I Got It" in 2016. The next year, he signed with <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Republic+Records%22">Republic Records</a>.
