AERIAL LOVE FEED (ALF) earned a triple shot of recognition back in 2003 when the New York Press named them "NYC's Best Stealth Band," followed by a CMJ New Music Report cover and article proclaiming them “NYC's Best Kept Secret," and best unsigned band. Spin included them in a short list of emerging NYC bands.
Combining electronic elements and hip hop beats with storming, layered rock’n roll, the band sits nestled in between it’s diverse influences of the Jesus and Mary Chain, Curve, and latter-day Primal Scream…
The band played live with Interpol, Guided by Voices, and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. ALF released a self-titled ep produced by Keith Cleversley in 2000.
Time and again they were told by the labels that they were "too shoegaze” for the current NYC raw rock scene.
ALF celebrates a return after a proper full length album in 2015 and emerging from darkness as shoegaze once again celebrates a turn in the music world.
