<a href="spotify:album:0RDF4hnIcT0xwpQhN15VP0" data-name="Amusement Parks On Fire">Amusement Parks On Fire</a> emanated in around 2004 with the circulation of an eponymous debut album, conceived and consummated by the then-adolescent founder Michael Feerick and phonically actualised on a shoestring. Issued on <a href="spotify:artist:53b2a4ytPlelgBJYLLocWh" data-name="Geoff Barrow">Geoff Barrow</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:6liAMWkVf5LH7YR9yfFy1Y" data-name="Portishead">Portishead</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5MGxwE9JG5IA6uqswrgNL6" data-name="Beak&gt;">Beak&gt;</a>)’s Invada label, it was described by the New Musical Express as &#39;hedonistic teenage genius&#39; and saw itself projected onto the planetary meta-retina.

A live line-up was essentially preformed and extensively performed with the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:267VY6GX5LyU5c9M85ECZQ" data-name="Dinosaur Jr.">Dinosaur Jr.</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:63MQldklfxkjYDoUE4Tppz" data-name="M83">M83</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:3zMir00BoCKhwNTjlT61KN" data-name="dEUS">dEUS</a> among innumerable other acts of the era. The unit then retreated to <a href="spotify:artist:6UUrUCIZtQeOf8tC0WuzRy" data-name="Sigur Rós">Sigur Rós</a>&#39; swimming-pool sanctuary Sundlaugin in Mosfellsbær, Iceland to complete the venturesome sophomore release <a href="spotify:album:2I168I4ucKL33o7eP8m7ab" data-name="Out of the Angeles (Deluxe)">Out of the Angeles (Deluxe)</a>.

After several years of international incidence the band crash-landed in Los Angeles in 2009 to make <a href="spotify:album:3ug7wWliqrnqJni32ywXWM" data-name="Road Eyes (Deluxe)">Road Eyes (Deluxe)</a> with producers Michael Patterson (<a href="spotify:artist:3vbKDsSS70ZX9D2OcvbZmS" data-name="Beck">Beck</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0X380XXQSNBYuleKzav5UO" data-name="Nine Inch Nails">Nine Inch Nails</a>) and Nicolas Jodoin (<a href="spotify:artist:1tpXaFf2F55E7kVJON4j4G" data-name="Black Rebel Motorcycle Club">Black Rebel Motorcycle Club</a>). Again inspired by the locale, the collection was characterised by Alternative Press as ‘sun-drenched, challenging and gratifying… a near-perfect album’.

After a self-described ‘88 month moratorium’ the group announced their return in 2017 with a new single <a href="spotify:album:4DXAO9RDzvfI2t5j8URSr1" data-name="Our Goal to Realise">Our Goal to Realise</a>, followed swiftly with the ‘concept EP’ All the New Ends in 2018 and rarities collection <a href="spotify:album:5E5I4CXxZKTduiCisdatHV" data-name="Thankyou Violin Radiopunk">Thankyou Violin Radiopunk</a> in 2020. The highly anticipated new album <a href="spotify:album:2J6baWbe5Qsxpl7ncLyP93" data-name="An Archaea">An Archaea</a>, their first in over a decade, is achievable now.
