A South African trad and roots rock band, aKING came together when former members of established outfit <a href="spotify:artist:7JL8PgOQe05PjPZtwBfR8x">Fokofpolisiekar</a> -- Hunter Kennedy and Jaco Venter joined up with Laudo Liebenberg and Hennie Van Halen. Their first album, Dutch Courage, was released in February of 2008, and the band spent a great deal of their time afterwards touring in support of it. The singles from the collection were all strong hits.
