Die Melktert Kommissie is a four-piece Afrikaans band from Jeffreys Bay, South Africa. The group was founded in 2002 during their participation in the Jip Rockspaaider competition, which they also won that year. Volroom, their debut album, was released in June 2003. A second album, Wonderwoorde was released in 2006. Their third studio album, Vergewe en Vergeet, was released in August 2007. The group released an English single Karma in 2009. After a long break, the group started performing again in 2017. In 2019, the group indicated on social media that they were back in the studio to record new music. Their new singles, Weier and Irrelevant, was released in 2019.The group members are: Lucinda Neethling - lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Jean-Marie Korff - electric guitar and backing vocals, Tim van der Westhuizen - bass guitar and Jan-Adriaan Korff - drums and backing vocals
