As a kid, Ali Handal wore out Carole King’s “Tapestry" album but she was forever changed when, as a teenager, she heard Led Zeppelin for the first time. Completely mesmerized by Jimmy Page’s seductive guitar riffs, Ali quit her piano lessons to pick up the guitar. Now based in Los Angeles, Ali holds her own among the ranks of fierce female performing songwriters. Ali released three albums on her own and released her fourth album with Red Parlor Records. "That's What She Said" debuted on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart the week it was released. Album #5 ~ Slow Burn ~ is due out in 2026, featuring performances by Marc Maron and Scarlet Rivera (violinist for Bob Dylan's "Desire" & Rolling Thunder Revue tour).

In addition to touring throughout the US, Handal has toured Australia, Japan and beyond, provided backing vocals for Neil Young, and shared the stage with songwriting legend Paul Williams as his featured vocalist. Also a published author, Ali penned Guitar for Girls (Hal Leonard), an exceptional guitar method book & CD brimming with advice and encouragement for aspiring musicians.

Since 2020, Ali has been the lead guitarist for the Aerosmith tribute RagDolls, playing all of Joe Perry’s guitar parts note-for-note, bringing her back to her beloved bluesy rock guitar roots.
