Altermind is a progressive metal duo from Austin, Texas, consisting of guitarist Dougie Van Bevers and drummer Cameron Carbone. The band’s sound is an amalgam of progressive metal, djent, and jazz fusion, with moments of electronica. Altermind’s primary lead single “Illumina” (feat. Lauren Babic) was released in February of 2021, with the release of their newest instrumental single “Mosaic” following in December of 2023.
