After a successful career as a model , Amanda Lear recorded in Munich her first album “I am a photograph” ( 1977) which included two huge hits, “Blood and Honey” and “Queen of Chinatown” and then in 1978 “Sweet Revenge” which featured her signature song “Follow Me”. During the Disco period she scored hit singles in more than 50 countries all over the world and became hugely popular with songs like "Tomorrow", "Enigma", "Fashion Pack" or "Fabulous". From 1982 she became a beloved TV Host in Italy and then from 2009 a very popular actress on stage in France.Nevertheless Music has never been far and since 2006 Amanda has recorded eight albums including hits like " La Bête et la Belle", I "I Don't Like Disco", "Catwalk" ( UK Club Hit in 2017) or her critically acclaimed tribute album to Elvis Presley "My happiness". Her album "Tuberose in 2021 was a first a many ways: sung in French and covering songs from the best songwriters/Singers( Gainsbourg, Trenet,Barbara).
From March 2023 CHANEL has chosen FOLLOW ME as the song for the new COCO Mademoiselle TV commercial.
Her incredible new album LOOKING BACK will be released on November 7 Th 2025 it includes 8 original songs including the singles "Amour(s)" and "Rendez-vous" and her fabulous self penned Dance song "When I Was Your Favourite Singer.
