Andrew Kirell is a Brooklyn-based folk-rock singer/songwriter constantly searching for some light among the bleakness. His debut LP, Torch Songs, out this summer, is a collection of songs about just that: Finding a way out of the depths of despair by accepting love—from those around you but most importantly from yourself. The album was recorded in Nashville with a band sharing credits with artists including Prince, Beyoncé, Kacey Musgraves, and Margo Price.
