The Shyp is not just a band, but an ever-changing music collective who are committed to taking listeners on a boundless adventure, one that promises to be interactive and inclusive of its fanbase. The band is led by the Captain, Andrew Capitan - a stand-out performer who brings his own signature mix of Rock, Blues & Hip-Hop influences to help guide his unique cadence. Also on board, a veteran cast of seasoned ShypMates, including 2 renowned producers in Justin Koop & Frank Morell (Recording w Finger 11, Billy Talent – Producing w Walk of the Earth, American Idol, Maestro, Carlito, etc).
Their debut release Cold Blood, is only the 1st of many transformative Journeys you are invited to experience along with the group. The song has already been featured in the 2019 New Year Marketing Campaign for Baron Samedi Rum! Their latest, The Fix - was CHOSEN in a landslide VOTE by Shyp listeners!
