Stun Love is a project from long-time collaborators Jeremy Stein and Jon Merkin (<a href="spotify:artist:2G0TgEzskSL6ccZCCnDVy1" data-name="The Shake">The Shake</a>). The bass and drums outfit enlisted the help of NYC producer Nicky Francis (<a href="spotify:artist:56NSn5MFazUpKYu8mw1JUI" data-name="The Majorleans">The Majorleans</a>) and their sound was born. Tuneful melodies and harmonies layer over deep, dark grooves and artfully downtown-sounding synth and guitar hooks. Drawing influences from <a href="spotify:artist:4pejUc4iciQfgdX6OKulQn" data-name="Queens of the Stone Age">Queens of the Stone Age</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7Ln80lUS6He07XvHI8qqHH" data-name="Arctic Monkeys">Arctic Monkeys</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:066X20Nz7iquqkkCW6Jxy6" data-name="LCD Soundsystem">LCD Soundsystem</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:0SwO7SWeDHJijQ3XNS7xEE" data-name="MGMT">MGMT</a>, the duo brings a funky take on a heavy dance-y rock sound that is both fresh and infectious.
