Argyle Goolsby's career began in 1997 with the formation of the band <a href="spotify:artist:1u8qqOF2w0kgbg1QLXEXSJ" data-name="Blitzkid">Blitzkid</a> whom he plays bass and sings for. Blitzkid have been crucial in the development and spread of the style of music known as horror rock. Goolsby writes and releases solo music under the moniker “Argyle Goolsby” of whom he performs as in two distinct incarnations- The Roving Midnight (his live electric band), and The Hollow Bodies (his live acoustic band). His music focuses on bridges the energy and anthem of punk rock with somber sensibilities.
