Arhkota

Arhkota is a drummer based in LA who has gained a lot of respect in the alternative music scene in Southern California, as well as in parts of Latin America and Europe. He is now mainly focused on his solo career and has recently completed his second solo album, which he produced himself. The album, titled "Dreamy Hamilton", features the singer Lubna Maher, who has previously collaborated with Tricky on his album Knowle West Boy. According to Music Connection, Dreamy Hamilton is a unique and alluring project, with compositions that are convincing enough to make people pay to see it performed and staged. One of the tracks, "In My Head", has echoes of Steve Reich and Hans Zimmer in its clockwork beating of metal pans, which is juxtaposed against layers of harmonics from vocalist Lubna Maher and a chorale. The most challenging track on the album is the title track, "Dreamy Hamilton", which features a pipe organ, reverbed vocals, and electronic seasonings that combine to create a gothic shroud that is as intriguing as it is challenging. Arhkota recently released his third EP titled "Balloons of Memories". The EP features hypnotic tracks that bring a dark and unique sound to your ears. It always evolves and unfolds, like nothing you've ever heard before. Now is working a new album for this 2026.
