Goya is the artist moniker of Abhishek Sekhri, a New Delhi based music producer, mix engineer and founder of Kintsugi Studios.
Goya's music revolves around experimental, ambient and cinematic electronic that is meant to evoke a physical and an emotional response. With a profound understanding of sound manipulation and curiosity for sonic exploration, Goya creates a musical experience that defies conventional boundaries and immerses audiences in a state of introspective reverie.
In December 2023, Goya will be performing his live set at Magnetic Fields Festival.
In December 2022, Goya opened for the electronic music group 'HVOB' from Austria for their India tour.
In July 2022, Goya was commissioned to create a 40 minute original score for 'On Reefs and Eroded Lands We Danced' - a choreographic creation by ŻfinMalta - The National Dance Company of Malta. The score will find way into his upcoming album 'The World We Wanted'. The album is going to be preceded by a five song EP 'Space and Time'.
In December 2021, Goya was selected as one of the only 4 music producers from India to create a track as a part of the ‘Sounds of the City' project, a Berklee College x MAP Bangalore initiative. This gave way to one of his latest tracks 'Dilli' which is produced entirely using sounds he recorded in the city without the use of any musical instruments.
