International pop artist Arilena Ara began her music career at the early age of 5, participating in various festivals and song competitions. At the age of 14, she won the second season of X Factor Albania (2012/2013). Ara then gained initial recognition with her 2014 debut single “Aeroplan,” which achieved record-breaking views on YouTube for a young artist in her country. She has since received numerous international accolades, including “The Best Award Grand Prix” in France, and “Song of the Year” and “Best Artist” awards across Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Romania, Greece, Belarus, Turkey, Moldavia, Azerbaijan, and the Emirates.
She released her 12-track album Pop Art The Album on November 6, 2021, featuring collaborations with artists like Gjon’s Tears. To celebrate, she organized the “Pop Art Festival” in Tirana featuring an innovative stage design and presented it as a globally significant event, a first for Albania. From there, Ara began hosting the investigative program Piranja on Albania’s ABC channel in April 2022 and more recently, she served as a judge and mentor on seasons 5 and 6 (2024/2025) of X Factor Albania. In season 5, her mentorship proved successful as her contestant was named the winner, highlighting Arilena’s dedication to supporting young talent. Next look for Arilena to set her sights on America with the release of her debut U.S. EP in fall 2025.
