Born and raised in Ivory coast, Asna defines herself as a music explorer. She pays particular attention to the traditional rhythms that have influenced contemporary African music. She makes people dance under a variety of genres, from a futuristic version of Ivorian « coupé décalé », to electronic Angolan dancehall or new African experimental music scene. She explores a new vision of rhythms that include percussion, traditional African music patterns and mix it with the unlimited possibilities provided by electronic music.
