Baby Guts was a feminist punk rock band based in Minneapolis, MN from 2005-2009. Laura Larson fronted the band on guitar and vocals, with high school best friend Taylor Motari on bass and vocals. Their first album, Gasoline, was recorded by Ryan Mach and Matthew "Gravey" Graves. Gasoline was self-released on cassette under Larson and Motari's label, Tardigrade Records, and was re-released through Guilt Ridden Pop in 2007. Brandon Lentz played drums on Gasoline.
Their sophomore album, The Kissing Disease, was recorded at Pachyderm Studios and released in 2008. Rob Goswitz played drums on The Kissing Disease.
Larson currently fronts rock band <a href="spotify:artist:3ndZ6yY1kX6H0sq90ybuKi" data-name="Scrunchies">Scrunchies</a> and plays in punk band <a href="spotify:artist:49aEBCKsGMO5vaRnr1GBg4" data-name="Kitten Forever">Kitten Forever</a>.
