A member of the group of composers and musicians from Minas Gerais called the Clube da Esquina, he participated in <a href="spotify:artist:3Bnq7jiU506HcPjRgQ43TM">Milton Nascimento</a>'s albums Clube da Esquina and Minas. In 1973, he participated in the collective project Beto Guedes, Danilo Caymmi, Novelli e Toninho Horta.
