Birdhouse is a studio complex based in Haarlem, the Netherlands. In this building you can find <a href="spotify:artist:1yawxcvEJTTtsz2aX3yruE" data-name="Rilan & The Bombardiers">Rilan & The Bombardiers</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1ViB3xhPayBSAhOoXBlE7Y" data-name="Rebiere">Rebiere</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0zk5EE1BBCgIlN6pWZQpTM" data-name="Pitch Controller Mitch">Pitch Controller Mitch</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6PuOeFpvcL6TYcRmEJKbdw" data-name="Umoja">Umoja</a> and the label INI MOVEMENT (check out <a href="spotify:playlist:7sBpDQ8Jxh2zRuF6wl3Yat" data-name="Releases">Releases</a>). Already helping eachother out with their personal projects, they decided to collaborate officially under the name Birdhouse.
Birdhouse Sessions Vol. 1 is an eclectic album filled with Funk, Disco, Afrobeat & Contemporary Beats released on independent platform INI Movement. For several days, one giant jam session was organized. Several guests stopped by (including band members from <a href="spotify:artist:02riqGdWw4EdqKJzOeWRZS" data-name="The Mauskovic Dance Band">The Mauskovic Dance Band</a> and several members of <a href="spotify:artist:5PBhzgMrQywioo7dPuXzvm" data-name="Gallowstreet">Gallowstreet</a>) influencing the process. Food, laughter & ideas were shared, all was recorded. We dubbed the album Birdhouse Sessions Vol. 1 as an ode to this beautiful place that allows us to share our passion and experience complete creative freedom.
