Tunkuy is the musical project of Iván Jaque, a Mexican-Chilean producer based in Munich, Germany. Fusing dub, Afro-Latin rhythms, and electronic textures, his music is a spiritual journey through sound, tradition, and culture.
His debut album Pulmari (2023) set the tone for his unique style—merging deep dub basslines, Latin percussion, and cultural influences from his travels across South America and Europe. Inspired by ceremonial experiences and ancestral soundscapes, Tunkuy’s music invites listeners to a place where ritual meets rhythm.
Performing solo or with a band, Tunkuy has brought his sonic ritual to stages across Europe and Latin America. His upcoming singles “Quimbamba” and “Kolymbethra” (2025–2026) mark the next phase in his journey toward his second full-length album.
