Bo Bruce is the singer and co-writer in the group <a href="spotify:artist:1M1PiPawULb9ZLZ5tYiE82" data-name="Equador">Equador</a>, which she formed with her partner Henry Binns, who is also one-half of the critically acclaimed and grammy nominated band, <a href="spotify:artist:14H7ag1wpQOsPPQJOD6Dqr" data-name="Zero 7">Zero 7</a>. Bo first shot to fame on the first ever series of TV talent show The Voice in 2012, her success in which led to a deal with Mercury Records and the release of her critically acclaimed and top ten charting album "Before I Sleep" in 2013. Later that year, Bruce teamed up with Gary Lightbody of <a href="spotify:artist:3rIZMv9rysU7JkLzEaC5Jp" data-name="Snow Patrol">Snow Patrol</a> on the track "The Rage That's in Us All" which was featured on the Star Trek: Into Darkness soundtrack. Following a massive featured vocal on the trance hit "U" with DJ <a href="spotify:artist:0hprEC0nsWuQPSHag1O2Vi" data-name="Gareth Emery">Gareth Emery</a> (a re-write of her original song "Alive" from the album "Before I Sleep) Bo teamed up with Henry Binns in 2015 to release Equador's debut record Bones Of Man on the independent Pegdoll Records, with tracks featuring on a wide array of TV and film soundtracks. Equador followed Bones Of Man with the 3 track Tribal War EP,.
In the last few years Bo has written and performed featured vocals on trance tracks for the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:7wU1naftD3lNq7rNsiDvOR" data-name="Paul van Dyk">Paul van Dyk</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:1xT5p0VBpnZDrvVSjX9sri" data-name="Dash Berlin">Dash Berlin</a>, and is currently working with Henry on new material for Equador.
