Inspired by groove, percussive nuance, and warm, melodic textures, Bodhi’s sound occupies a space between House, UKG, breakbeat, and electronica. With a deep musical intuition shaped by years of exploration and crate-digging, the duo are known for productions that move fluidly across styles while retaining a distinct emotional core.
Based in Cardiff, Wales, Bodhi first emerged in 2012 with a slew of hotly-received edits, which in turn led to releases on key labels including Future Classic and Rinse. Burnt out from the carousel of juggling touring and production, the duo went on an extended hiatus in 2017...
A lengthy period spent experimenting outside the spotlight and developing a fresh sound gave way to a return to the scene in 2021, with standout releases on Unknown To The Unknown and Shall Not Fade.
Bodhi joined Scuba's Hotflush Recordings imprint in 2023, ‘Edge Of Blue’ saw heavy support from some of the scene’s top DJs including I.JORDAN, Kelly Lee Owens, TEED, and Anz. 2024 saw an extended project, again on Hotflush, in the form on Laurus Ascending. The seven-track EP covered the full spectrum of the duo’s revitalised sound, from tweaking UK Bass to full-on cavernous Techno.
Most recently, the duo have released on the hot new dh2 label, and are preparing the follow up to Laurus Ascending with another Extended Play on Hotflush.
