Boijake

Joshua Kwaku Acquah, better known as BoiJake, is a Ghanaian high-life and afrobeat singer-songwriter. He is signed to the renowned Ghanaian record label, Lynx Entertainment.
BoiJake born as Joshua Kwaku Acquah on 10th January 1996 in Accra, Ghana to Peter and Vida Acquah. He received his basic school education at Achimota Primary, Ave Maria and Blessed Schools in Accra and proceeded to Mfantsipim Senior High School where he completed in the year 2013. He then went on to the University of Ghana Legon, where he graduated in 2017 with a degree in Performing Arts; Music and Theatre Major.
While studying Performing Arts at the University of Ghana, BoiJake knowing he had a talent in singing, performed on various "Moonlight Café" platforms – a production that supports underground artistes and gives them a platform to display their talents.
BoiJake recorded covers of popular songs while trying to carve a path for himself in music. He started his own recording studio and independently learned to produce and record his music.
