Bressie (Niall Breslin) first came to the fore as the lead singer, guitarist, songwriter with pop band <a href="spotify:artist:5wzUAvSTqE7BXNSL0OOzZR" data-name="The Blizzards">The Blizzards</a>, before his solo career took off and made him even more recognisable face.

In 2011, Bressie released his debut solo album, <a href="spotify:album:2wwRQ962VZ2F5F453PzZIo" data-name="Colourblind Stereo">Colourblind Stereo</a>. Four singles were released from the album.

Through the end of 2012, Bressie began work on his second solo album <a href="spotify:album:3DcfOciG6ZUijn1H0CER9D" data-name="Rage and Romance">Rage and Romance</a>. Gone went the shiny synths and big pop choruses that defined the first LP, instead <a href="spotify:album:3DcfOciG6ZUijn1H0CER9D" data-name="Rage and Romance">Rage and Romance</a> has a subtlety that confidently underplays Bressie’s natural gift for melody – one that’s teased out by co-writer James Walsh (<a href="spotify:artist:0G8zjE6SsFTlbglCkU8pm3" data-name="Starsailor">Starsailor</a>) and producer Eliot James (<a href="spotify:artist:536BYVgOnRky0xjsPT96zl" data-name="Two Door Cinema Club">Two Door Cinema Club</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3MM8mtgFzaEJsqbjZBSsHJ" data-name="Bloc Party">Bloc Party</a>).

In 2014, Bressie announced putting his solo career as a recording artist on hold, with the intention to focus on his work as a judge on The Voice of Ireland - and writing and producing music.

In 2019, Niall Breslin launched a podcast called &#39;Where Is My Mind?&#39; which focuses on mental health and wellbeing.
