Candy Hearts were a NJ-based pop punk band fronted by singer-songwriter Mariel Loveland. Drawing influences from ‘90s alternative staples like Gin Blossoms, Green Day, and Breeders, Candy Hearts signed to Bridge 9 records in 2012. Shortly after they recorded their critically acclaimed EP, ‘The Best Ways to Disappear,’ and its follow up, ‘All The Ways You Let Me Down,’ with Paul Miner and Chad Gilbert from New Found Glory in California..
Spin Magazine ultimately ranked their single “I Miss You” as one of the top songs 2014, while Billboard hailed ‘All The Ways You Let Me Down’ as one of the best pop albums of 2014.
10 years after the release, the band briefly reunited and signed to Iodine Recordings, where they released "You Could Be Anyone," a career-spanning collection of rarities and b-sides.
