Ceeze

Ceeze is the charismatic rapper, singer-songwriter and vibe maker who aims to touch your soul. Calling his music ‘Afrobeats with a twist,’ the 24-year-old injects danceable, colourful, uplifting output blessed with sun-kissed rhythms, vocals and infinite energy. He offers a wholly novel, immersive listening experience. “I like to be different, my style is unique, it’s not your standard, I just vibe,” he says.

Born and raised in the Kensington area of Liverpool, he found solace and a secondary home within his community. Via interactions with friends, he was introduced to African culture, an experience reinforced by his discovery of Afrobeat at a young age. “It was at my friend’s house at age 5,6,7,” he remembers. “It was Fela Kuti, proper old school, and the instrumentation was on point. From then on, music always came naturally to me.” Ceeze took initiative, penning songs in school by the age of 10 and gaining access to a studio by the time he was 11. By 2016, a year in which the genre was gaining serious momentum in the UK and worldwide, Ceeze supported the likes of Young T & Bugsey, Miss Banks and Fredo whenever they were performing in his hometown, the result of his buzz ringing in the streets.

Now preparing his first official project, Ceeze’s life experiences have brought him to the precipice of showcasing his talents on a grand scale. With an extraordinarily fresh style and the dedication to take him to the top, he is going places, one vibe at a time.
