Chaitan was born and brought up in Visakhapatnam, India. Before entering into Music industry, he pursued his Bachelor's degree (specialisation Computer Science Engineering) from Gitam engineering college, Visakhapatnam, India. He worked as a certified IRDA surveyor in Fire, Marine and Engineering departments. Chaitan also had technical background in IT industry as java developer. He spent the early part of his career in Visakhapatnam before moving to Hyderabad, India.
