Hailing from Suffolk, Charlie Simpson has enjoyed a hugely successful 20 year music career which began when, barely a teenager, he found multi-platinum success with Busted. Due to to creative differences, Charlie left Busted in 2005 to form Fightstar, releasing post-hardcore and metal infused rock music to critical acclaim. Never afraid to take risks, he then embarked on a solo career in 2010 with two albums sitting in the UK Top 10 charts, and a number 1 album in the UK Indie Charts. After Busted reunited in 2016 for an arena conquering tour and two more albums, Charlie has now returned to his solo career with a renewed focus and passion, self-producing his own material for the first time in a purpose built recording studio.
