After studying music at SUNY Purchase, she drew on such influences as <a href="spotify:artist:1aSxMhuvixZ8h9dK9jIDwL" data-name="Kate Bush">Kate Bush</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:762310PdDnwsDxAQxzQkfX" data-name="Depeche Mode">Depeche Mode</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:7w29UYBi0qsHi5RTcv3lmA" data-name="Björk">Björk</a> while creating her debut album 'Surgery'. Themes of dark self-reflection, detachment, and melancholia are the cornerstone of the album, and are prominent throughout both the lyrical content and musical arrangements of the songs. The album's singles have garnered coverage from XLR8R and Cougar Microbes, as well as a handful of independent outlets. Her latest release ‘It’s Okay (A/B)’ came out on January 27, 2023 — comprising a new single as well as a remix by electronic musician and producer <a href="spotify:artist:5Yeaa87C4GKucvJgKXYLyq" data-name="Kaiwei">Kaiwei</a>.
