Chlöe knew music was what she wanted to do from the age of ten, growing
up in Berkshire on the hip-hop she'd hear blasting from her older sister's
bedrooms and the New Order and The Smiths records her dad used to play in
the car. Chlöe left school at the age of sixteen and scored a record deal
with Columbia Records shortly after. Howl spent the next three years writing
and recording songs, doing studio time with the likes of Justin Parker, Joel
Pott, Samuel Preston, EG White. Much anticipation for the young artist also
brewed during this time; in 2014, Chlöe was nominated for BBC’s ‘Sound of’
poll alongside Sam Smith, FKA Twigs and Ella Eyra, and ‘Critics’ Choice’ at
BRIT Awards.
Chlöe’s progression into new music continues in the studio this year, as she
hones her song writing skills and works on new material with long-time collaborator
Chris Zane (Passion Pit, St Lucia, Friendly Fires) including, Chlöe’s critically acclaimed comeback track Magnetic which amassed 564k+ track and video plays in three months.
