<a href="spotify:artist:0fldjyAR3wsZmoToy8dDCQ" data-name="Cinematic Pop">Cinematic Pop</a> is a classical crossover project conceived by composer/arranger <a href="spotify:artist:4Nxe6Ok9L0s7WViFxu8zVX" data-name="Rob Gardner">Rob Gardner</a>, Drex Davis (of <a href="spotify:artist:0AruVIz7Z0cKrXBSCkOnYl" data-name="Retrofitro">Retrofitro</a>), and <a href="spotify:artist:6rMYxscXk2MNP8THgDs3FD" data-name="McKane Davis">McKane Davis</a>. Gardner&#39;s prior releases included several sacred classical works, including Lamb of God, recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra and Spire Chorus. The group performed an arrangement of Tears for Fears&#39; &#34;Everybody Wants to Rule the World&#34; on the TV talent competition America&#39;s Got Talent in 2016. Their self-released debut, Prologue, followed in the spring of 2017 and landed on the Billboard Heatseekers and classical crossover charts. The groups second album &#34;All the Lonely People&#34; was released in 2021 and immediately climbed the charts once again. Both albums were recorded in London with the <a href="spotify:artist:5yxyJsFanEAuwSM5kOuZKc" data-name="London Symphony Orchestra">London Symphony Orchestra</a>, and feature lead vocals by Spencer Jones (<a href="spotify:artist:6i0JBoTPDCzjxKhfGACU4q" data-name="Redhill">Redhill</a>), <a href="spotify:artist:2J5ZG3xD6VTCBOXnpn8r2B" data-name="McKenna Breinholt">McKenna Breinholt</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:3tXYJw93QtQtUNW24QwDbn" data-name="Cosette Smith">Cosette Smith</a>. The album includes cinematic covers of songs by Tears for Fears, Aerosmith, Simon &amp; Garfunkel, Boston, the Cure, Nirvana and more.
