Close to Fire

Close to Fire is a four-piece Indie pop band from the Netherlands known for their summer sound, catchy tunes and accessible music. The young gentlemen released their EP in a sold-out Paradiso Amsterdam and toured across European borders to perform at international surf camps, festivals and well-known venues e.g. in Germany, France, Spain and obviously in their home country.

Previous singles were played on national radio and reached more than 5 million streams. Singles like ‘Summer Haze’ & ‘Feeling Young’ are part of their brand-new debut album: This Is What It Feels Like.

This Is What It Feels Like is a ‘coming of age’ story of four musicians in their early twenties about choices, love and friendship. They combine their experiences with recognizable themes as personal development and uncertainties that everyone has to deal with during the coming of age: This Is What It Feels Like. They make these topics discussable for everyone and put the negativity into perspective by giving the music a positive touch through cheerful melodies, laidback or uplifting-songs and a positive attitude.
