Nona grew up among vinyl and vintage soul in her parents’ record store in Uden, where music wasn’t just background noise — it was her lifeblood. From classical instruments to street jam sessions, she chased sound with relentless passion, eventually trading management studies for the stage.

With her soulful voice and raw honesty, Nona burst onto the scene in 2018 with It’s Alright, followed by a critically acclaimed debut album and an Edison nomination. Her second album, No Tears In My Champagne (2022), solidified her place in the Dutch music landscape, boasting hits like Forever Yours with nearly 20 million streams.

But numbers only tell part of her story. Grounded and reflective, Nona’s time caring for dementia patients during the pandemic deepened the emotional core of her songwriting.
