Equal parts organical and mechanical, COLLIDE is the creation of fiercely independent Los Angeles duo kaRIN and Statik. Aptly named for their fusion of opposing forces, COLLIDE blends dark electronic, industrial, trip hop, grinding guitars, and darkwave into a sound that is distinctly their own.
While difficult to pin down to a single genre, this refusal to conform is COLLIDE’s greatest strength. Both intimate and intense, Statik’s meticulous soundscapes give kaRIN’s hypnotic, soulful vocals room to fully explore the space around her.
For over two decades, COLLIDE has remained on the cutting edge, building an expansive and ever-evolving body of work.
