After being taught to DJ by the one and only, Ajax, Dan and his little brother Beni went on to throw a little party called “Dangerous Dan and Bumpin Benny B’s Bargain Basement Booty Bar” they were joined by Ajax, Gus Da Hoodrat and Jaime Doom which evolved into “The Bang Gang” quickly becoming Sydney’s most infamous club night. The Bang Gang ran for 5 years and every Friday night became a home to a melting pot of Sydney’s tastemakers, cool kids and drag queens.
The Bang Gang DJ’s went on to national and international tours of the USA, UK and Europe, Japan and Asia, also BTW, supporting Daft Punk on their Alive Tour of Australia in 2007.
As a DJ, Dangerous Dan has played club nights and festivals in most major cities and a few unknown corners of the world. Sharing the decks and playing B2B with artists such as Tiga, Soulwax, Justice, Mylo, A-Trak, Boyz Noize, Steve Aoki, The Scissor Sisters and many more.
Playing late night club sets of underground house and disco to 300 people, or banging techno/dance to festival crowds.
As a producer, Dangerous Dan has worked with friends Nicky Night Time, Jimmy 2 Sox of Flight Facilities and Lubelski to release 5 records including the number 1 Beatport charting ‘Around The World Again’
