Born and raised just north of Stockholm, Daniel Rosenholm has always had a deep connection to various forms of musical expression. Now residing in the Stockholm archipelago with his family, he continues to explore the limitless landscapes of music. With experience spanning a variety of musical contexts, Daniel has played in numerous bands, traversing genres such as pop, rock, hip-hop, reggae, and soul.
However, it was his work composing music for a short film that marked a new phase in his musical journey. This project opened his eyes to the powerful intersection of music and storytelling. Since then, he has dedicated time to scoring several visual projects, and has also begun to venture into the realm of instrumental music. For Daniel, there is a unique sense of ease and freedom in creating music that speaks for itself, independent of words and lyrics.
Beyond his artistic endeavors, Daniel carries his passion for music into his work within social psychiatry. Using music as a therapeutic tool, he helps individuals improve their mental well-being by creating their own musical expressions.
When he’s not busy translating emotions into film scores or uplifting lives through musical therapy, you'll often find him at his piano. This process serves as therapy for him; channeling his thoughts and feelings through his fingers and onto the black and white keys, where each note becomes part of a larger emotional palette.
