Ever since she was just eight-years-old, DaVionne has used songwriting as a vessel for her deepest and most complex feelings. Graced with a spellbinding voice that captures the most nuanced of emotions, the Atlanta-based singer/songwriter/producer started singing in church as a little girl, began self-producing her own material in her early teens, and at age 19 appeared on the platinum-certified and critically lauded compilation Revenge of the Dreamers III—a turn of events that earned DaVionne her first Grammy nomination before she’d even signed a record deal. With her latest triumphs including co-starring in the acclaimed documentary Uncharted(a behind-the-scenes look at Alicia Keys’ She Is The Music songwriting camp), the 23-year-old artist now set to make her Concord Records debut with her highly anticipated EP Good Grief: a high-concept but gorgeously free-flowing EP exploring the five stages of grief, fully affirming her extraordinary gifts as a vocalist and songwriter.
