The 25 year old Gambian artist from London, is looking to blend music from her childhood with modern music soundscapes to create something nostalgic yet entirely new with inspirations ranging from Erykah Badu, Usher, SZA ,Lauryn Hill and Jhene Aiko. Her international upbringing allowed for a diversity of sound and style.

In Her first EP “Limbo” , Binta wears her influences on her sleeve, creating a neo-soul atmosphere reminiscent of the legendary early 2000s collective Soulquarians.
