Deathsport is an indie rock band founded by brothers Mike and Tom Zitzelsberger. Their youth was shaped by strong influences from the dreampop and shoegaze scene, inspiring them to experiment with various genres, projects, and approaches. The siblings gained experience in bands, worked as producers, and wrote songs for other artists. However, they ultimately returned to their roots — the love for nostalgia, straightforward songwriting, and the pursuit of something unique.
Originally from Munich, the duo garnered attention through a series of self-released singles that resonated with the press, radio, and music enthusiasts. Eventually, Berlin-based label Duchess Box Records discovered them. Together, they are working on their debut album, scheduled for release in early-2025.
