Nearly ten years ago, Laura Lee rose to international fame with her band GURR, touring across North America, the UK, and Europe, as well as winning the IMPALA award for best indie album of the year.
In 2021, she released Wasteland, the debut album of her new band LAURA LEE & THE JETTES. Once again, her music resonated internationally. Whether it’s BBC 6 or NPR, everyone was on board. And Laura Lee kept pushing forward—eight months pregnant, she played two support shows in front of 20,000 people at Wuhlheide.
Now, in 2025, LAURA LEE & THE JETTES are set to release their second album. The band is scheduled to kick off their album campaign at SXSW in Austin, Texas.
