Two-time Cy Young Award winner Denny McLain was far more well-known for his baseball career than his musical achievements, although he did manage to release an album of his lounge/organ work in 1969. He played for the Detroit Tigers from 1963 through 1970, then bounced between the Washington Senators, Oakland Athletics, and Atlanta Braves until his final season in 1972. Since then, he went in-and-out of jail for racketeering, extortion, drug possession, and a number of other offenses. He also authored or co-authored a handful of books. ~ Bradley Torreano, Rovi
